The Atlantic CYAC Network hosted an annual Multidisciplinary Partners meeting in February 2025, with a focus on “Responding to child maltreatment: The strength of multidisciplinary partnerships“.
Over 100 professionals from sectors of child safety, law enforcement, prosecution, victim services, health, mental health, and education joined across 5 sites in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick to learn together and build connections across systems. Topics included the growth of CYACs in Atlantic Canada, best practices in child forensic interviewing, and supporting youth with problematic sexual behaviours and their families.
